One this is for sure, this is a winner. Spicey sweet caramel flavor with just a touch (and I do mean just a touch) of anise. Little needs to be said, robust flavor, great vapor and a convincing throat hit. This is really a perfect juice.
The one thing that isn't quite convincing is the name. My first pull I said, "Ooooh yes! It is Dr. Pepper!!!", then I waited for the flavor to finish and like a gentle summer breeze the taste and aroma of a very subtle anise entered on my palette and nose. A very interesting and peculiar taste, yet one I am familiar with. I knew it right away, there is no doubt this is Moxie, a rare soda, that has its fan headquarters in my home town. Readily available in Maine, it can also be found in other New England states and even nation wide at chains like Beverages and More. I highly recommend anyone to give this a try and I also urge you to go and find a bottle or can of Moxie and compare the results!
